We have pulled all our Sleepers and Day houses off the ice this Monday, 3.11.24.
We do have guests that will be coming to us over the next few weeks!
Our Guests will be staying in our sleepers on land in campsites!
With Dale’s assisting, our guests will be fishing with snowmobiles, four wheelers and portable fish houses!
The concern is the warm temps and what changes this will make with the ice!
So far everything is going fine but monitoring ice conditions each day/all day!
There was a early birthday celebration on the ice this past week!
Bill was surprised by all of us with a Birthday picture and a great piece of Birthday Cheesecake!

Our guests all went home this past Sunday and Monday all with their limit of fish! Very blessed
The bite was remained a tough one – fish there but the bite was tough – pretty hungry in the morning and
turned on again late afternoon/early evening – the mid-day at times was long and boring- time for a movie!!!

Ice Condition:
We were forecasted for 2-5 inches of snow- accumulation did not even reach 1/2 inch and the wind was blowing 30 + mph last night!
New forecast this morning is looking like a warm up to possibly 50 degrees and 2 days of rain this week. We will continue to keep our guests who have reservations updated by phone.
When ice conditions deteriorate due to these weather changes we will be shutting down our sleeper and dayhouse rentals for this ice season.

We are not dealing with any pressure ridges currently.
