Update status –

We would like to apologize for the decrease in news and updates.

My Mom, (Connie’s) as some know, came to be part of our home here at Lake of the Woods last November.  Mom took a tumble in her bedroom on the 14th and has 3 fractures in her shoulder.  After a trip to the emergency room, the Dr.’s said Mom was OK to come home.  She was no longer able to care for herself with the shoulder fracture.  Orthopedic Dr. stated she would need to be in a sling for 2 months.  Mom made the decision that she needed to go into a care center for 24-hour nursing care, medical care, and have Physical therapy so she could heal and work towards being independent again.  Dale and I cared for Mom from her fall until Mom and I traveled to the care center this past Monday.  Mom has a lot of hard work ahead of her and we will be taking small steps to good Quality of Life together as a family.

Dale and Justin have been working non-stop, as well as some great friends who have been volunteering to help when they are looking for something to keep them busy.

I am back on track and today will be getting the website and Facebook page up to speed.  I have posted our ice condition video’s on our YouTube account for anyone who wishes to check those out.

Our apologies for the lack of posting over the last couple of weeks.  We hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and we are excited for the upcoming ice season along with the wonderful Christmas Holiday coming up!
