Cleaning up branches-wood blocks from winter-debris

Dragging and smoothing out resort roadways!!

Cleaned up in front of Garages and Shop!

ALL BEFORE 10:30 a.m. – WHEW!!!!

Just the final touches and this campsite with one of our Sleeper Cabins will be ready for our camping guests here for fishing opener weekend. Kicking off Summer time fun!

Ice/Lake Conditions May 9th, 2023

We have photos of the Ice/Lake conditions from May 7th – today, May 9th.

We take photos every morning and will be posting pictures for you every 3 – 4 days.

We still have ice out there and plenty of it, however, we could wake up tomorrow and it could be all gone as you well know. But how fun to watch the slow process of winter ice vanishing and bringing on our wonderful Spring – Summer and Fall Seasons.

Our resort is open for camping and Dale and I are working on all sorts of projects. We will get more done once the ground dries.   Beach bar lakeshore is placed ready for us to bring our favorite beverage, visit with others, and enjoy those beautiful sunsets.  This weekend we have a couple of camping guests and we will have the picnic tables, fire pits, and hammocks in the campsites ready for our guests.  Still pretty wet around here to say the least, despite that the firwood is cut and stacked for those awesome nightly campfires.  It just isn’t camping without a campfire.  Don’t forget the fixings for smores!!!

Projects in the works!

Dale & I are enjoying cool mornings and warmer days. Started on our “projects” for this Spring- which will move right into the Summer and Fall!!

Beach bar moved lakeside!

Today we moved the little beach hut to a new temperature location to clean up some trees.

Tree clean up- some trees didn’t survive the high water last summer.

Waiting for snow to melt, pumping out the water, excavator in place. Dale and I will start getting started on building our inland harbor. All permits in place.

Anyone for king on the hill! We have quite a bit of 4 legged friends!!
