Harbor/shoreline renovation update
The summer is about our camping guests!
We are making progress and working on days when we cause as little disturbance as we can for our guests!
All our guests have been so good with the construction going on, we thank you so much!
There has been much work done and now that we are moving into the Fall season we are working more steadily!
Our goal is to have each side of the channel constructed; the interior wall of the harbor completed all with the goal of
finishing the channel next Spring and filling the harbor with lake water!
Thank you to our son Justin and his friend Travis for answered our call for help to pick up our dock floats in Wisconsin, we have made another trip to the border of Montana for well casing, and of course all the help within the 3- 20 miles from our place for rock, pit run, sand, well drilling, etc.! Blessed by all!

Dale and Tom had to cut off and move 2 of our dock poles not fun to have to do something twice but they got it done!

All the rock gets cleaned and screened. Dale’s homemade screener!!
Dale found dock floats for sale in Wisconsin, made a call to our son Justin, he called a good friend in Wisconsin, Travis, and within days Travis had picked up our 25 dock floats! Thank you, guys!!! You are so amazing!!

We will be building our own docks and there will be a stairway down to the dock. We found this stairway and have ordered one to make sure this is what we want for our guests to get down to the dock. These shoreline and harbor projects are a lot of work but working through each phase is so cool, each phase working towards completion. With doing this ourselves this is taking longer to build but we will get it done by the final day of the permits.
