Fishing report for today,  2/23/21:

Fishing a little better today, a tough bite out here.  Moving couple sleepers houses this week.  Sunny days and fluctuating temps.

Winter Access Open to ATV, UTV, Snowmobiles, and Track Machines ONLY – No Trucks – No Cars

If you can pull your fish house your ATV, UTV, Snowmobile, or track machine – you are able to access the lake through our winter lake access.

As a small, family-owned business, Dale’s on Lake of the Woods strives to provide our guests with relaxing, enjoyable fishing experiences. It is a privilege to share the natural beauty of Northern Minnesota lake life with others all year round.

Over the years, we worked hard to continue the tradition of providing plowed lake access for ice fishing in addition to our primary winter business of sleeper and day house ice fishing rentals. This year, however, we have come to the difficult decision to end this service. We will strengthen our focus on our Sleeper, Dayhouse’s, camping and storage services. We feel these services are appreciated by many and give us great pleasure to provide these services.

This change in our service offerings is effective immediately. Winter lake access at Dale’s on Lake of the Woods is now available to ATV’s, UTV’s, snowmobiles, and track machines only.

As a business, Dale’s on Lake of the Woods has also decided to step back from Facebook as a communication method with our customers. Regular updates will continue to be posted on our website, and we are exploring other customer communication avenues. Our contact information remains the same, and we can be reached in multiple ways as listed below.

Our Facebook page will remain active for 30 days. We will continue to monitor and read customer feedback during this time. After this period, please be aware will delete our Facebook page.

We definitely are making ice-no doubt in that!

Fishing is fair-some of our houses have been bringing in the fish, however, others not doing as well!  Plan’s in the work to be on the move again, hopefully, this wind will settle down!

For those that wish to venture out on your own, our WINTER LAKE ACCESS is open to ATV’S, UTV’S, TRACK MACHINES, AND SNOWMOBILES ONLY!

If you can pull your fish house with one of these types of snow machines you are welcome to bring your fish house our through our winter lake access!

Cold snap is making the bite tough- been some caught, lot of small ones, slot fish.

Today is Super Bowl Sunday and we are dealing with -30 degree temps.

We have 3 groups of guests for our Day houses today and we have 3 Sleeper groups of guests heading home to be able to see the first handoff of the football for Super Bowl 55  between Kansas City and Tampa Bay today Central time 4:30 p.m. today.

Super Bowl Platters will be delivered to all our Ice Fishing Guests with a Super Bowl tray here at the Boat Bar in our Main Office!!  Time for Ice Fishing and Football!!!
