It has been a fun quiet week here at Dale’s On Lake of the Woods

We have enjoyed having our Wisconsin resident camping guests this past week

Camping and relaxing with crisp nights, campfires, and both beautiful days and nights mixed in throughout their stay

Last Week

A mix of hunting, fishing, and camping!

Terry and Jen, Dustin, Jessica and Cooper, along with Josh G. family here for youth deer hunt!

And our duck hunter who also came with helping hands!

We want to thank the hunting work crew that came to duck hunt with helping hands clearing trees,

brush, cutting firewood, building our well house, picking rocks, and Lindi and Ani getting all the birdhouses

from the trees to put away until next Spring!

We had the great gift of 4 of our new firepits for each of our campsites!  Zak and Jeremy from Mountain Iron, MN are

Adamski Metal Works is building 24 campfire pits with an attached cooking grill.  Zak and Jeremy completed 4 and hauled them to us this past weekend and set up Campsite #1, #12A, #12B, and #11 with the new firepit ring/griddle!

These firepits are so well built that will be stationary, we will mark them with orange reflector poles for over the winter month’s!

Hello Everyone!!
We are certainly enjoying the fall season here at Dale’s On Lake of the Woods!

Colors are just vibrant and so have the Northern Lights.

We enjoyed the company of Jon – CS#8, Pat – CS#1, and Dear Jody – CS#10 over the last couple weeks!

Yesterday we welcomed James and his good friend in CS#9 and along with AJ and his family in CS#12B.

We just had the pleasure of Kurt, Dan, Troy, and Kenny checking in with more guys on their way All with duck hunting and fishing on their minds!!!

It is that time of the year and we love hearing the sound of the shotgun’s in the morning and throughout the day! Just like deer hunting, early to rise, lunch around noon and maybe a nap, then back out in the duck blind until dusk.

WISHING ALL WHO ARE WITH US A SUPER FUN WEEKEND AND WISHING YOU GOOD HUNTING AND FISHING!!

Life is good.

We have been working everyday making great progress

on our Harbor Construction!!

We so appreciate the great help our team member, Tom,

 gives to us each week,

what a blessing!

We are working on constructing the channel from the harbor towards the lake and will be lining the interior walls with Geo-textile fabric – finishing with rock armoring.  Dale and Tom have just done a remarkable job with all the dirt work.  The calculations and laser work and then digging and moving dirt to designed specifications – just an amazing experience.

North Star Electric here and moved the Light Pole to it’s new shoreline location just a short distance to the West!

Jon enjoying lakeside fire watching the sun set and sometimes we stay long enough to see a pretty amazing view of the night sky and moon.

Jon has stayed on this week and has been enjoying camping and fishing.  Jon and Dale enjoyed a lovely meal of Jon’s fresh caught fish just last evening-
