Announcing Harbor completion date
May 10, 2025

Hard work is paying off.  Early ice and late ice will give Dale the days he needs to complete the channel for our New Harbor.  We will complete the channel and fill the Harbor by May 1st.  We have plans in place to build our docks early Spring 2025.
Booking online?  We have added, under “Extra”, for you to reserve your boat slip!  No worries, if booking by phone, we will help you with boat slip availability!!

New Spring 2025 -New Fire rings with flip over cooking grill

Adamski Metal Works, Mountain Iron, MN, has been working diligently to complete our order for 24 new campsite firepit rings that include a flip over grill.  Zak and Jeremy came to us in 2023 for a duck hunting adventure only to find out about their metal works business.  Aaron, who camps with us each summer, introduced to us how awesome it is to have a grill over the fire pit to cook over the firewood on an open fire.  Our Guests are so amazing!
Here we are new ideas shared and people with great skills to create, and now all our camping guests will enjoy the fun of outdoor grilling if they choose to!!

Designed so the grill may be flipped over and be out of the way for the evening campfire. Our new campfire rings will be placed in the sites on a bed of fine crushed rock or pea rock and will stay in each campsite on a permanent basis.

ICE SEASON IS JUST AROUND THE CORNER!!
With ice season moving in fast we are getting more excited every day!  Cold temps sure have us thinking ice season, how about you?  
Dale and I are moving sleepers out of the campground, lining them up side by side.  I will start my Fall top to bottom” cleaning of each Sleeper and Day House!  We have replaced some broken windows in both the Sleepers and Day houses, replacing chairs, sticking with the nice folding chairs that have padded seats and backs!  We are in the process of removing all the carpet sweepers and replacing them with an electric stick broom.
New to each Sleeper is an awesome “boat caddy” at the bottom of each chalk board, yep, all 4 guests, to hold your beverage, fishhooks, pliers, fillet knife, etc. 

Day Houses each now have a chalkboard to keep track of the fish count or to play tic tac toe during the quiet time of the day maybe!  Providing each Day house also with a “boat caddy” – however only 1 caddy right below the chalkboard so we have a place for the chalk!!

WE ARE LOOKING TO BRING ON BOARD ANOTHER TEAM MEMBER TO HELP WITH SLEEPER CLEANING AND LIGHT CLEANING OF BUILDINGS ON LAND.
