What a great couple guys here, Dad and Son, fishing together for 3 days
with us here on Lake of the Woods! How great to see family enjoy time here together.

Access -snowmobiles only – need these temps to drop!!
-Warm temps causing a pretty nasty crack which has areas open 4 feet wide- now with 10 – 12 inches of snow! We need cold temps!
Snowmobiles getting around good, being cautious!
Access remains open to snowmobiles only,
not too bad with slush, ran into it a couple spots but not too bad, thank goodness for tracks!
Froze a little rough! New snow will help – received 10-12 inches, blocked all the houses up!
Not able to get close to get pictures of the wider areas of this crack.
We have a good safe trail on South side of this crack and are on good 14 inches of ice.
First week of fishing!

Jon & Maria – dayhouse guests 2 days in a row good times both day- keeping enough for supper along with Catching one big whopping Burbit!
Sawyer and friends – fish turned on around noon- had a blast in our deepest sleeper!
Fishing 19-25 ft
Wyatt turned 17 today fishing with his sister and brother in law having a red letter day catching nice Burbit and a 29” northern on his birthday!
71 inch – 1/2 hour fight shared this moment with his 2 daughters@0- how awesome is that!

12.13.22 No improvements on the lake conditions, still areas open from the crack that opened up a few days ago. We need some cold weather.

1:00 this afternoon a crack has developed and is traveling East/West. At this point in time, it is 2 feet wide. No ATV’s/No UTV’s SNOWMOBILES ONLY
We have a couple winter camping quests that have been out fishing the last couple days – with snowmobiles they have made it past around and past Gull Rock and surrounding areas-
Fishing in areas as deep as 19 and has reached 25 feet of water
