We want to welcome Ben to our team.

Ben is here to help us until Thanksgiving, just in time for us to get our Summer Season projects wrapped up and get ready for ice season.  We are very blessed to have Ben come join us! 

Dale and Ben built a screener for the rock we are placing around the interior of the harbor. Lots of sticks and rocks are being pulled out of the pile before dumping the rocks on the screener to get the sand off the rocks. We will use the sand for other construction projects as we keep working to build this harbor.

Out of the shop and down to the rock pile for the first test run. Let’s see if we need to make any changes!!

We have started, and a couple of changes will have to be made but all in all, working great.

Screen, load dump truck, scoop, and move to the interior wall of the harbor!

Looking good!!!! Work is going well, thank you to all who have helped make this happen!! We have until mid-October and then the cold will set in, and we will have to stop for this year. Rest assured as soon as we will start up again inland work on the harbor again next Spring.

We have been blessed with a few camping guests since Labor Day!!!

We are so enjoying our guests with us this week!  Huge thank you to our Guests from Waite Park, MN, Fremont Indiana, and Garfield, MN to name a few! 

Thank you to Doug and Tammy we enjoyed freshly cooked fish lakeside sitting around our beach bar. 

The weather has been wonderful – a little windy today- so off to the rivers for fishing today.  Maybe it will be a day to sit back in the lawn chair and feel the breeze off the lake.

Our Guests will enjoy this Saturday @ 2 p.m.

On Saturday our 2 p.m. Fun – We had Hot Dog Day! 

Dale and I grilled hot dogs at the beach bar, served up hot dogs with the choice of relish, ketchup, and mustard,

and enjoyed Lemonade or Sunny D with the Hot Dogs!

We all agreed that the camping get-together went too fast for all of us!

We have the winter season coming up and how would you like to come help Dale and I this winter Plus you will get some time to fish too on your day off!!

Working with Dale on and off the Ice – with sleepers, day houses, fueling, banking houses, moving houses to new fishing spots, and transporting guests when they arrive and when they go home. Grooming our trails to the fish houses.  Bobcat snow removal -cleaning the campsites and parking lots, driveway/resort roads. 

We are also in need of help with cleaning our sleepers

when our Guests head home from their fishing trip.
